Ellen DeGeneres showcased a fresh look overseas, sporting brunette hair, after she and her wife, Portia de Rossi, reportedly left the United States following Donald Trump’s victory in the presidential election.
The talk show host was spotted enjoying an evening out with friends at The Farmer’s Dog, a pub in the UK, in a video shared on Instagram on November 13.
DeGeneres and de Rossi were seen enjoying live music at the establishment alongside friends, including Natalie Imbruglia, known for her hit song “Torn.”
“… what a great night in the pub with @thecorrsofficial ..the way a good pub night should be ..acoustic set, a few drinks, great friends @jeremyclarkson1 thanks for organising [sic] it!” read the caption posted by The Farmer’s Dog.
Reports of DeGeneres and de Rossi’s move to the UK emerged earlier in the week, with sources telling TMZ that the couple relocated to England following Trump’s re-election.
The duo is said to have settled into their new residence in the Cotswolds, a picturesque area in Southwest England about two hours away from London.
According to TMZ, the pair had purchased the property prior to the 2024 presidential election.
DeGeneres, 66, and de Rossi, 51, who have been married since 2008, were previously based in Montecito, California.
They reportedly felt “very disillusioned” by the possibility of another Trump presidency.
DeGeneres had openly expressed her support for Kamala Harris in the presidential race.
“There’s nothing more powerful than a woman whose time has come!! I can’t wait for @KamalaHarris to be our next president,” she captioned the post.
