Christina Haack Introduces New Boyfriend in ‘The Flip Off’ Season Finale
The season finale of The Flip Off, which aired on March 5, brought unexpected twists—not only in the competition but also in Christina Haack’s personal life. The HGTV show, which pitted Christina against her ex-husband Tarek El Moussa and his wife, Heather Rae El Moussa, concluded with an emotional journey of closure and new beginnings.
A New Chapter for Christina Haack
During the finale, Christina’s supporters gathered at her Newport Beach home, among them was her new boyfriend, Christopher Larocca. Although he maintained a low profile, blending in with the crowd, eagle-eyed viewers spotted him near Christina’s close friends and her children, Taylor (14) and Brayden (9).
Christina and Larocca’s relationship first made headlines in December 2024, six months after her split from third husband Josh Hall. However, photos from a trip to Italy in October hinted that their romance might have started earlier. The Christina on the Coast designer made things Instagram official in February 2025, sharing a cozy private jet photo with the CEO of Illinois-based Network Connex. Since then, she has posted several pictures of their travels, from Paris to Florida.
The Flip Off: Competition and Closure
Christina initially entered The Flip Off with Josh Hall, her then-husband, as her partner. However, after Josh filed for divorce in July 2024, citing irreconcilable differences, his role in the show became uncertain. He ultimately appeared only in the first episode, where the couple had a final argument before Christina announced their split to Tarek. His presence was later limited to flashbacks.
Despite the personal challenges, Christina embraced the competition solo and reflected on the experience. “This has been a very difficult few months,” she admitted. “I’ve learned that I need to slow down, be around people who lift me up, and feel more comfortable in my own skin.”
Winners Announced
In the finale, guest judge Jeff Lewis named Tarek and Heather as the winners, as their property yielded a higher return on investment. However, Christina found satisfaction in her journey, saying, “I’m proud that I finished this on my own and still made a great profit.”
Beyond the competition, the experience also changed her dynamic with Tarek. “There were so many things we never got to say, so many regrets,” she shared. “Through this, we were able to have the closure we never had before.”
Tarek agreed, adding, “We’re finally at peace, as a family, on all sides.”
With a new love interest and a fresh perspective, Christina Haack’s journey on The Flip Off may not have ended in victory, but it certainly marked the beginning of a new chapter in her life.
