Kristin Cavallari shared a rare glimpse of her 12-year-old son, Camden, during a mother-son “date night” in Nashville on March 21. The 38-year-old reality star posted an Instagram Stories video where she and Camden reviewed Hattie B’s Hot Chicken, marking their first time trying the popular Nashville spot.
“Date night,” Cavallari captioned the video, which showed her and Camden sitting together with their food. She began by saying, “OK, we’re trying Hattie B’s for the first time, the hot chicken, here in Nashville,” before admitting that, despite living in the city since 2017, she had never tried it before.
As Camden tasted his first bite, Cavallari showed off a piece of chicken and asked if it was hot. “Not really,” Camden responded. The 12-year-old then questioned his mom about the food, as Cavallari took a bite and declared it “a little spicy.”
“I got mild, but it’s so good,” Cavallari added, as the pair shared a laugh. They ended the review with Cavallari’s enthusiastic approval: “It’s good.”
Later, Cavallari posted a selfie with Camden and added, “Wait, honestly, so freakin good,” showing how much they both enjoyed the spicy chicken.
This mother-son video follows Cavallari’s decision last fall to start sharing Camden’s face on social media. The former Laguna Beach star, who had previously kept her children’s faces private online, explained her decision in an Instagram Stories post. She shared a video of herself and Camden making pumpkin spice syrup in September 2024, which sparked reactions from fans. Cavallari explained, “I know. He’s a little bit older now and he wants to be on social media, which is the only reason why I showed him.”
Cavallari added, “He’s 12 going on 28, so he is mature enough to make that decision now!”
