John Leguizamo recently shared a lighthearted and candid moment regarding his intimacy challenges during an appearance on The View on March 21, 2025. The 64-year-old actor, promoting his new film Bob Trevino Likes It, joked about the side effects of the hair loss medication Propecia.
“I’m on Propecia, so it’s a different thing,” Leguizamo explained. “Propecia for your hair makes certain things not work as much, so then you have to take Viagra to undo the Propecia.”
He humorously added, “But, I want to have good hair,” acknowledging the “up-and-down” nature of dealing with both issues. His playful comment had the audience laughing, and he quickly apologized for his candidness.
Later, Leguizamo discussed his excitement for his new project, Bob Trevino Likes It, where he plays the titular Bob. The film, inspired by true events, follows a young woman named Lily (played by Barbie Ferreira), who mistakenly befriends Bob on Facebook thinking he is her estranged father. The two strike up an unlikely friendship, which begins when Bob helps Lily with a plumbing issue at her house.
The movie, which highlights the touching yet humorous friendship between the characters, opens in select theaters in Los Angeles and New York City on March 21, with a wider release set for March 28.
