The rosters for the 2025 MLB All-Star Game are officially set — and the spotlight is burning brighter than ever on a dazzling lineup of generational icons and rising phenoms.

2025 MLB All-Star Game starters

Headlined by household names like Aaron Judge and Shohei Ohtani, this year’s starters — revealed Wednesday night after weeks of fan voting — also include fresh faces such as Pete Crow-Armstrong and Cal Raleigh, whose meteoric seasons have captured the attention of fans and scouts alike.

American League: Familiar Faces, Fierce Competition
Aaron Judge once again reigns supreme, earning his seventh All-Star Game start after dominating Phase 1 of the fan vote. His resurgent 2025 campaign — featuring an MVP-worthy stat line — made him a lock from the start.

Cal Raleigh, catcher for the Mariners, will make his first All-Star Game start after a breakout season that includes 33 home runs — the most by a catcher in MLB at the time of selection.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. (1B), Gleyber Torres (2B), José Ramírez (3B), and Jacob Wilson (SS) round out the AL infield — all known for their consistency and power.

In the outfield, Judge is joined by Riley Greene of the Tigers and Javier Báez, now thriving as a utility All-Star. Ryan O’Hearn of the Orioles gets the nod as designated hitter.

Shohei Ohtani becomes the National League’s top vote-getter in his first full season with the Dodgers, earning an automatic starting spot as designated hitter.

Ronald Acuña Jr., Pete Crow-Armstrong, and Kyle Tucker form a star-studded outfield. Crow-Armstrong’s All-Star selection marks a career milestone and highlights a standout year filled with elite defense, speed, and surprising power.

The NL infield features Freddie Freeman (1B), Ketel Marte (2B), Francisco Lindor (SS), and Manny Machado (3B) — all veterans of the Midsummer Classic.

Will Smith (C) gets the start behind the plate, representing the Dodgers with strong numbers and consistent leadership.

Fan voting concluded in two phases, with Judge and Ohtani bypassing the second round due to overwhelming early support. The Cubs and Dodgers each boast multiple starters, underlining their influence and strong fanbases in 2025. Notably, Crow-Armstrong and Tucker’s election marks the first time in over 15 years that two Cubs outfielders will start in the All-Star Game.

The selections also reflect shifts in power around the league, with rising stars like Raleigh and Wilson being rewarded for their breakout performances.

This year’s All-Star Game will be held at Truist Park in Atlanta on July 16, promising an electric night of baseball under the summer lights. While these starting lineups are locked, fans still await the full pitching staffs and bench players, which will be revealed by managers Aaron Boone and Dave Roberts in the coming days.
